Students of the Department of Mechatronics Engineering secured First Prize at DIPEX 2026, held from 5th to 8th March 2026, for their innovative project titled "Smart Precision Agricultural Drone." The project utilizes a dual-drone system for crop health monitoring and targeted pesticide spraying, promoting precision agriculture and sustainable farming practices. The team was awarded a Winner's Trophy and a cash prize of ₹11,000 in recognition of their outstanding innovation and technical excellence.
