On 10 April 2026, MBA students visited Empire Spices & Foods Ltd. (Ram Bandhu), Dindori, Nashik, as part of their Operations Management curriculum. The visit provided hands-on exposure to Inventory Management, Production Planning, and Manufacturing Operations. Students observed the complete production process, including raw material storage, grinding, blending, packaging, and dispatch. They also studied the concept of idle time, identifying causes such as machine setup, material delays, maintenance activities, and production bottlenecks. The visit offered valuable insights into capacity utilization, lean manufacturing practices, and operational efficiency, helping students connect theoretical concepts with real-world industrial applications.
