Entrepreneurship Development Program Cell (EDP Cell) Information
The EDP Cell at Sanjivani has been established in 2018-19 to motivate and inculcate entrepreneurship skills amongst the students. The main aim of this cell is “To produce entrepreneurs with higher leadership qualities using innovations and technological advances.” Students should be able to solve Industry, social and society problems to make the life of common man simple and easy. The main intention is our students should be job providers, which will help reduce the unemployment problem of the nation.
This could be achieved through continuous mentoring, creating awareness, regular training on self-employment and attitude development. Sanjivani EDP Cell is working on the same line to create first generation entrepreneurs.
To create awareness among the students on various facets of entrepreneurship is also a key function of this cell. Students should opt entrepreneurship as an alternative career choice. To achieve this, EDP Cell continuously organizes expert sessions and mentoring programs from industry persons, successful alumni, leading entrepreneurs and startup founders to make their path easy. Now, gradually we are getting the results of these efforts and we are sure that in future most of our students will be successful entrepreneurs.
