PhD Research Centre in Management
Sanjivani Rural Education Society was founded under the able mentorship of Honorable Late Shri. Shankarrao Genuji Kolhe to uplift the rural youth and condemn with its innovative need based programs, contributing to the social and economic upliftment of the rural district of Ahmednagar and surroundings. Sanjivani College of Engineering (An Autonomous Institute established in 1983), Kopargaon is one among the premier technical institutes in Maharashtra state in the un-aided sector, with a vision for social transformation and, upliftment of rural masses through education, training and research. Sanjivani Rural Education Society had started its MBA Programme from the academic year 2010-11 with the objective of imparting management education to the rural masses. Vision of the Department is to be a center of academic excellence in the field of management education that makes socially responsible future managers, leaders and entrepreneurs. Following the same vision of governing society, college and department, The PhD Research Centre is Approved by the Prestigious Savitribai Phule Pune University from the AY 2021-22 and the research incubator facilitating MBA projects, Ph.D. thesis, Research Projects, Funding and Consultancy Grants under the umbrella of SCOE as an additional initiative for the prospective researchers, considering the needs of commercial and agrarian economy of Western Maharashtra rural districts.
