The establishment of the IEEE Student Branch is considered as one of the most positive elements in the departments of Electronics and Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering,Electrical Engineering,Mechatronics Engineering. The Student Branch provides an opportunity for our students to meet and learn from fellow students, as well as faculty members and professionals in the field. Apart from this, the IEEE Bombay Section, since 2008 has initiated a unique program called Job Fair which helps the IEEE student members in getting placement. Since its establishment, the IEEE Student Branch has been instrumental in organizing a host of technical activities at Branch level as well as at State and National levels. Also, the IEEE Student Branch was the key player in organizing ‘TECHNOSPIRE 2014’, National level Technical Symposium sponsored by AICTE New Delhi, ‘TECHNOSANJIVANI 2014’Regional Project Exhibition and “SANJIVANI-TECH FEST 2016, State level technical fest sponsored by BCUD, SPPU Pune.
The Student Branch was instrumental in hosting TECHNOVATION 2023, Project competition cum exhibition organized by the Students Activities Committee, IEEE Bombay Section on 15th April 2023.

The Student Branch has been taking active part in various activities organized by the IEEE Bombay and Pune Sections also. Since 2004, members of the student branch have been actively participating in the “Students Awareness Contest” organized by the IAS/PES Society of IEEE Bombay Section. Four times they have won Prizes at National level (in years 2005, 2009, 2011 &2012). In TEHNOVATION 2023, students from Sanjivani College of Engineering won four out of the five prizes at divisional level which included districts of Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Jalna, Hingoli, Beed, Parbhani, Usmanabad, Latur and Nanded.
Dr. N. K. Darwante, the Branch Counselor of the Student Branch since its establishment, has been elevated to the level of Senior Member in October 2020
