ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION (EESA)

Electrical Engineering Student’s Association (EESA) is an association of students, for the students and by the students. EESA provide a platform for students to plan, organize and execute various activities, to exchange ideas by organizing/participating technical programs. Plan of curricular and extra-curricular to be conducted in each academic Year. It is formed to motivate students to participate and develop extra skills other than academics.

 Vision

To create, promote, plan, organize, execute the curricular & extracurricular activities in the interest of student’s development.

 Mission

 1)To provide a platform for regular and frequent discussions and exchange of views among students.

 2)To provide opportunities for students to develop their leadership and organizational qualities.

 3)To develop student’s professional and personality development skills through various programs, activities arranged by association.

EESA Inauguration

  • The students’ association of Electrical Department i.e. “Electrical Engineering Students’ Association (EESA)” came into existence on Friday 10th August, 2018 and witnessed by whole department. The inaugural function of EESA was chaired by Hon. Nitindada Kolhe Saheb(), Antre Sir (Executive Trustee), Dr. D.N. Kyatanvar (Principal SCOEK), Prof. B.S. Kulkarni (EESA Advisor), Prof P.V. Thokal (EESA Co-Advisor), all electrical faculty members and students of F.E. and S.E. Electrical Department
  • we are also having ISTE chapter and IEEE association.
  • EXPERT TALK FOR STUDENTS BY EESA-
    After the grand function of inauguration, team EESA was in light with an Expert Talk on 23th August, 2018 Thursday by Prof. Sirshendhu Arosh on very interesting topic “Recent trends in the field of Solar Energy”. The students were introduced to many new technologies in the field of solar energy in one hour from 3:35pm to 4:35pm. Prof. Arosh has completed his Ph.D. from IIT Bombay and the department is so lucky to have him as anassociate professor for the department.
  • Teacher’s Day -
    EESA organised Teacher’s Day on 6th Sep 2018 and it was held inside classroom-231 itself at 4:30 pm. Teachers were dignified with bouquet and a pleasant gift by all students.Several games and challenging activities were arranged for teachers. Our friend, Moin Sayyad gave a wonderful speech on the occasion of Teacher’s Day.

  • EESA CELEBRATES ENGINEER’S DAY-
    After Teacher’s Day it comes Engineer’s Day on 15th September and to celebrate this special day of all engineers community EESA has organised an event on 15th September, 2018 Saturday in Room no: 231 at 4:30pm to 5:35pm. After garlanding the portrait of Sir M. Visveswaraya, Prof B.S. Kulkarni (EESA Advisor) talked on Sir M.V. and his personality. Prof. D.B. Pardeshi introduced the scope of Electrical Engineers in the future, which provoked the brains of the students. One of the students of S.E. Mast. Shubham Gadekar presented poem on Importance of Engineers. The whole event was enthusiasm.

  • MOTIVATIONAL LECTURE-
    The students of S.E. Electrical Engineering were introduced to Prof. Shivraj Teggi who enlightened students with the topic “Personality Development”. Prof. Teggi is associated professor from Civil Engineering Department, SCOE Kopargaon. The lecture took place on 29th September, 2018 Thursday at 2:45pm to 3:45pm in Room no: 231. The lecture was really a thought provoking and woke all the dormant brains. The students of S.E. Electrical Department had a talk with Prof. Teggi by asking some questions which were answered appreciably.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (EESA)


EESA of Electrical Engineering Department is an organization formed by the students, which works for the students. The Basic aim of EESA is to enrich students with different qualities to add dimensions of their personality so that every student emerges a s multi – functional engineer who is globally recognized. EESA was established in the year 2018. The motto of EESA is to mold one’s personality in such a way that one becomes equally competent in all streams of engineering. EESA has been working hard to press the students to wards developing them in all round fashion and I years to come.

The governing body is formed of the students. The president of EESA is the head of the Department, with a Staff Advisor and C0- Incharge of EESA while bright and dynamic students are selected for the post of Vice President (from SE ) Secretary ( from SE and Treasurer ( from SE ) by interviewing them. One Executive Member and One Ladies Representative is elected.

EESA organizes different activities throughout the academic year like:
