The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), was founded in 1981 at New Delhi by a group of eminent HVAC&R professionals. ISHRAE today has over 28,000 HVAC&R professionals and Student-members. ISHRAE operates from over 42 Chapters and sub Chapters spread all over India, with HQ in Delhi.

ISHRAE Objectives

• Advancement of the Arts and Sciences of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering and Related Services.
• Continuing education of Members and other interested persons in the said sciences through Lectures, Workshops, Product Presentations, Publications and Expositions.

Sanjivani ISHRAE Student Chapter

Sanjivani ISHRAE students’ chapter was established in academic year 2019-2020 in presence of chief guest Ms. Pratibha patil, Founder Director, ‘Word Perfect English Academy’, Loni, Director of Sanjivani College of Engineering, Dr. D. N. Kyatanavar sir and Head of Department Mechanical Engineering, Dr. A.G. Thakur.

Faculty advisor and president of ISHRAE chapter conducts various activities, like Guest Lecture related to HVAC field, PPT competition on Advances in Refrigeration and Air conditioning, Quiz Competition, Poster Presentation on Environmental issues and its solutions, Hands on Practice Session related to Maintenance of Refrigerator and Air conditioner etc. for the skill development of the students.
